Meet the faces behind the Red Door…

 
 

My name is Dave and I am the owner at Red Door Cucina. I love pizza, let’s make that clear from the start. I have always made homemade pizza and experimented with different crusts and toppings with my state of the art pizza oven on my patio which is now on a mobile trailer for catering events. It was a hobby of mine that has now become a business. And I love it! I live in Dundas and was brought up here, so it is my honour to work within this amazing community. I love the amount of support locals bring to our red door and it’s my pleasure to serve you.

We recently added the real “Italian touch” to our little Dundas Cucina, meet Giovanni Campisi. A passionate and authentic Pizzaiolo from Sicily. Giovanni is known for his pizza around the globe. Back in 2018 Giovannni won two gold medals and one bronze at the Canadian Culinary Federation Toronto. His dough making is something special to witness, so come and meet him yourself and try his delicious cuisine.

We love to make everything from simple basic fresh ingredients either procured from local suppliers or brought in from reliable sources. Our pride is our double zero flour that we bring in from Italy to make or hand rolled dough for our gourmet pizzas.

Together we are Red Door Cucina, and we are all here to make the best Italian food possible for you to enjoy. We are looking forward to greeting you one day at our restaurant.
